[Case Study] A Plant Solution for a Shaded, Outdoor Environment
Horticulture specialists face many challenges in their daily work. They’re required to examine a space, whether indoor or outdoor, check its environment, and consider its lighting, temperature, humidity and other factors all to help each client select the right types of plants, greenery, planters, and accoutrements that achieve the desired look and feel while staying within a budget.
Many times, there are challenges in any one of these steps. For example, one of our horticulture specialists, Paul Bradley, came across a challenge with the lighting when he worked on a bed along the San Antonio Riverwalk at the Westin Hotel.
The bed gets very little direct sunlight, so we had to go with a lot of shade variety plants that brought in the color that flowers often bring in. As we all know there isn’t a lot of flowering shade plants, so this was a challenge.
Other beautiful features of this space is the walkway we created through the center so that guests could take pictures, which is very popular along the Riverwalk.
“I wanted to create a space that is unique to any other property downtown and let everyone know that this is Natura,” Bradley said.
If you need the plants in your office, restaurant, hospital, or home to look their best and stay that way, indoor plant services are the way to go. The right plant specialist should guarantee their work and keep your plants looking their best over time. Interior plant services give you all the benefits of plants without any of the risks associated with going it alone.
Horticulture specialists can help you select just the right plants for your space, and keep them looking their healthiest. Well-maintained plants in a business give the impression of confidence, competence, and caring.
